7 - Coffee: some mornings wouldn't/shouldn't/couldn't happen without one/two/three cups
8 - My Sewing Machine: hand quilting would put a damper on my productivity

9 - Skinny Jeans: not the cut, but finally putting on those jeans you wore the last time you were "skinny"
10 - Creativity: what kind of world would we live in without creativity?
11 - Finances: finally being in a position to buy a house, even if the right one hasn't come along

  1. The plumbing's been a big one for me this year. During winter (in Australia) the pipe from the meter to the house burst on the Friday night at the beginning of a long weekend. The plumber hooked up a garden hose from the meter so I wasn't completely without water. All I wanted was a hot shower and to be able to flush the toilet without having to use a bucket. I have a greater appreciation for running water now! All the best with your house hunting and congrats on fitting into your skinny jeans!

  2. I am thankful for my new niece who was born yesterday and texts and social media for keeping me connected with family to celebrate her birth. I hope you have a delightful and wonderful Thanksgiving!

  3. I am ALWAYS thankful for plumbing. Imagine living in an age without safe, drinkable running water and with all the problems that means.
