Finally finished my Modern Maples quilt! I backed this one using some number fabric from Ikea and a grey binding. This time around I also tried the spiral top quilting. It was difficult at the center with my small domestic sewing machine, but started to get easier as less fabric had to fit through the throat!
This one might be one of my favorites! Now it just needs to find a good home.
Sew long for now,
Patch & Chels
This looks great! I love the spiral quilting!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I love the fabrics and your spiral is lovely! Great finish! :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely finish. I like the warm fall colors for the leaves, and the spiral quilting makes me think of leaves fluttering off the trees in the fall, too!
ReplyDeleteIt's turned out beautifully with the spiral quilting! It can come live with me Chelsea 😃
ReplyDeleteWhat? You are not keeping this for yourself? It is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteO.M.G. Totally impressed.
ReplyDeleteI think the quilting really works with the design of the quilt. Makes me think of leaves floating down. Beautiful finish!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this quilt!! You did an awesome job :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty! Your spiral came out really great too! Kind of looks like the leaves are blowing around in the wind. I'm trying to spiral quilt on a Queen size one but I stopped when I ran out of bobbin but then never started it up again afterwards! I should do that..
ReplyDeleteLove it!! I can come and live with me anytime!
ReplyDeleteThis turned out wonderfully!! The quilting is great, and I just love it. Great job!

ReplyDeleteThis is stunning as well! I don't see a single quilt on your blog that I don't love!
