This weekend I had some time to work on my farmer's wife sampler quilt. I went all out this time around and completed TEN all at the same time! Yay, me. Here is how they came out ...
Sorry some of the photo's are dark. I was racing the sun at this point in the day!
Sew long for now,
CHELS
Finding time to take pictures while there is sun is a challenge! The blocks look great, broken dishes is one of my favorite blocks and I really like rail-road, which I hadn't seen before.
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous, I look forward to seeing it finished in these crisp modern colours!
ReplyDeleteYour fabric choices and piecing are just perfect! Love the chalk board to display the names, too. Well done on all your blocks, Chelsea! This is going to make a fabulous quilt!
ReplyDeleteThese blocks are great! I love your fabrics.
ReplyDeleteYes!! The chalkboards! Love all of this!
ReplyDeleteLovely colors and very precise piecing! Looks like it was a lot of fun and enjoyable, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat work! Some nice precision piecing there, very impressive!
ReplyDeleteI love your chalkboard idea to label the quilt blocks for the photos! Beautiful quilt too! I'm trying to think of a clever way to imitate the chalkboard idea without completely copying it :)
ReplyDeleteOo I really love Flock, Broken Dishes, and Linoleum. I'm always partial to little triangle blocks such as flock and broken dishes, and the colors you used make them pop. Linoleum, though, I haven't been able to figure out how to make modern in my quilt so I've been putting it off. Yours looks splendid, however, so maybe I'll tackle that this afternoon.
