New Project: Starlight in PB&J

Somedays I just crave something new. New motivation. New inspiration. New technique. New project. Today I am embracing new.

Notice I neglected to say new fabric?

For that I will applaud myself. I have been stashing a jelly roll of PB & J designed by Basic Grey and made by Moda. Along with some yardage cuts. So almost new fabric, it was plucked from my stash but I have never used any of the fabrics in this line.

So new to me!

Also, new pattern was missing from the newness. I bought the Starlight pattern from Thimble Blossoms years ago. Once again I have never used the pattern, so new to me.  Talk about a double win on the stash!

The pattern uses triangles to create a star pattern inside another star. It's pretty awesome check out what others have done on Instagram.

  1. I love that fabric line and I think it is going to look great in that pattern

  2. Oh that is such a pretty colour combination! Yay for the stash!!

  3. Oh, that sounds like a lot of fun! I hope you enjoyed all the new. :)

  4. I made a quilt using those fabrics and I absolutely love it...background was a pale green grunge...enjoy!

  5. That's a lot of "new" to do! Don't you just love how thrilling it is to embark on a new project? It's always so much fun, and even better when it's with materials that you already had on hand.

  6. Yay for you having that beautiful fabric just laying around in your stash!

  7. Perfect inspiration :) and what attention to detail! I admire and congratulate.
