Early summer when Amy Garro came to visit, she has brought me a surprise. She had picked some fabrics from her personal stash that she had deemed, So Chelsea. Hence the name of this quilt.
That gorgeous stack above sums up the color inspiration for this quilt. I also pulled some fabrics my Gram gave me. Then mixed with some prints I'd been hoarding. The chambray and Les Fleurs fabric are new, but I am obsessed with both at the moment. This quilt basically sums me up!
The pattern is Daydream from the book Striking Strip Quilts. I am typically don't buy books, but this one rocked my world. Three patterns have made their way to to the top of the "to do" list. The local quilt shop we visited on retreat had a well curated book selection. It definitely renewed my interest in quilt books. Anyone have any book recommendations?
